Specterdr 1/4x 5.56 NATO

映画で特殊部隊等のＭ４に搭載されているのを見かけた人も多いと思いますが
この「機関車トーマス」みたいな形したスコープがELCAN DRです。
このモデルは1-4Xですが1.5-6Xモデルも存在します。
1.5-6XはＭ４にはあまり載ってる画像無いですが...


The SpecterDR 4x/1x Dual Role Optical Sight represents a revolution in optical sight design.
The world’s first truly dual field of view combat optical sight, the SpecterDR switches instantly
from a 4x magnified sight to a 1x CQB sight with the throw of a lever. Unlike zoom sights, the
SpecterDR offers an optimized optical path and identical eye relief in both 4x and 1x modes.
Depending upon the situation, the user may adjust the sight to illuminate the crosshair or just
a brilliant red dot in the center. In 1x mode, the SpecterDR has by far the largest field of view
in the industry. In 4x mode the SpecterDR offers a generous field of view, long eye relief,
and ELCAN’S legendary crystal clear image. The SpecterDR 4x/1x offers the best single
solution for both Medium Range and CQB engagements and is designed to withstand the
rigors of modern professional use.

エルカンＤＲの特徴は1～4倍ではなく1or4倍と言う特殊性です。
ズームではなく切り替えなのです。
ズームレンズはレンズの群構成が多くなるのでどうしても解像度が落ちてしまいますが
単焦点レンズはレンズ構成枚数が少ないので解像度が高くなる傾向があります。
エルカンＤＲも例に漏れず解像度は高いです。
もちろん例外もあり単焦点でもたいして解像度高く無いスコープもありますしズームでも
解像度の高いスコープもありますが良いレンズを使っているスコープは超高価です...

エルカンＤＲのもう一つの特徴はウィンテージ＆エレヴェーション(左右上下)調整をスコ
ープの筐体内で行わずマウントベース部分で行う事です。
筐体の構造が単純に出来るので解像度とかにも良い影響あるのかもしれません。

まぁ外観から分かる様に強靭そうな光学機器です。
もちろん重たくて高い(高価)です...

オプションでDCTERサイトやMRDS(L3)等を上に載っける事が可能です。
「1-4ｘなのになんで必要なの？」とか野暮な事は聞きっこなしで(;´д｀)
