車の世界と似たような感じで考えて下されば良いと思うのですが

「新古品」の定義：　
未使用or未開封だけどパッケージ汚れがあるモノや未使用品を買い取ったモノなど

「中古品」の定義：
中古買取品や明らかに開封して使った形跡のある商品や当方で使っていた商品
など

それほど厳密に区分けしてる訳でも無いので参考程度にしてください(笑)
